Why do Christians pray in front of other people when Jesus said not too?

Jesus condemned people who pray their PERSONAL prayers in public just to show off their spirituality.It is appropriate to pray FOR OTHERS in groups providing doing so is not done for exhibit but rather for communication with God.:applause:
