why do christians say God is love? when he will send you to hell if you don't...

...accept jesus christ? but if you believe in God and no in jesus christ you aren't saved?
 
There have been reports from people who died,went to hell and then were brought back to life with medical intervention.Although they do report initial punishment for sin,the vast majority of people in hell live physically tolerant lives separated from Jesus Christ as they have chosen to do. :hammer punch:
 
God is Love! When you read the Sacred Scriptures you find that everything that He Commands is for your benefit... just imagine a world where all people would Love God above all else and their neighbors as themselves... there would be no crimes or illwill against anyone... the super wealthy and the poor would share on the resources of the planet... and you would need for nothing since both your family members and your neighbors would be looking out for you (it's the perfection of Communism)...

Still, the reality of Hell is that it is not God who choses to place man in Hell; rather, man choses to reject God... and God, Loving as He is, grants man his wish to live eternally separated from Him!
