...life? (chris & rihanna)? I am using the Rihanna/Chris situation as an example. Dont you people have your own lives to tend too? Just an honest question, over the last couple of days, this is all I am hearing about and people are not only bashing Chris but making him guilty through public opinion. Rihanna didn't deserve what she got HOWEVER this is between her and Chris, their families and lawyers. Why do regular folk feel like they need to know everything about the situation & feel like they are some how entitled to know? It is none of our business what happened between them that night, I know they are celebrities but I've always felt this way about all celebs!!! No matter who they are and what they are going through, they deserve the privacy to go through life like anyone of us. I think it is awfully rude to judge their situation and make rumors up, take sides and act like you are within there circle well enough to know them. Again, this is my opinion. I hope they resolve this matter privately, the guilty will be punished and these kids should be able to move on without the public all in their business, you people dont know them! They are just like us....how sad, I would never want to be a celeb. Opinions? I respect yours, so respect mines. Thank you
Feminist-I so agree, domestic violence is horrible!! Rihanna didn't deserve that but again, I wasn't in the car that night. Nothing official has been released, just hearsay. I would love for the judge to punish Chris if he abused that lady! However the public shouldnt be swayed so soon, without knowing how this incident played out. It's sad on all accounts, these are two young kids who deserve privacy.
Stephan A-they are human! celebrity is just a title. They go through things like us that unfortunately get spun out of control and their situation is getting used to sell more magazines, get more hits on websites. Everyone is making up stories and just passing them along to GOSSIP! Which is wrong, they are humans not perfect and I believe celebs wholeheartedly should be respected. If you were abused/or hit someone, being a regular citizen that is private and should be handled between you and the respected parties

I think its important to at least acknowledge that domestic violence is wrong. Clearly making it an issue will raise the alarm bells on the treatment of women

I know!!!! i think that people who stalk them and try to pry into their lives are just low and doesn't respect people's privacy (no offense!!!). I wish that they would just drop this rihanna and Chris brown situation and do it all privately and if they decide TOGETHER to tell someone then so be it!

It comes with the territory of being a famous person. If you don't want people to talk about your business than stay out of the spotlight. Everyone is going to have an opinion about what happened but what Chris and Rihanna went through is nothing new under the sun. Couple's fight all the time and it's not always about one being a batterer. People will speculate and give false rumors until the facts come out about the situation.

Finally someone grown with common sense. You should be someone's publicist. hahaha.

I feel the same way
