Why do famous/popular celebrities sleep with multiple people?

I'm not making a generalization, but it seems people who are in positions of power tend to have multiple partners. I was wondering why and if they learn to desensitize to being with so many people. And vice versa with groupies--why risk going for famous people who have this behavior.
 
because they think they are above the average person, they think they are above the law and wont get caught.
 
Because they can. Hell if you had that much dick/vagina would you seriously pass it up? I don't think there's anything wrong with it as long as they aren't in a committed relationship with someone and vice versa.
