Why do girls complain about being called whores?

When they tease guys they don't know, and post provocative pictures of themselves online? I say if you want respect, show respect for yourself or people are gonna think you're a whore.
 
A whore is a woman who has sex in exchange for money. A girl who posts provocative pictures of herself online may be a tease, but she is not a whore.

They get upset about being called whores because they are offended that you think it's just as degrading to show off their bodies in a flirtatious way as it is to spread their legs open for twenty dollars.

Because they are insulted.

Because they don't like it. Being sexy and revealing is not considered whorish to them for some reasons.
 
Could it be that you are talking about a narrow group of women that is not a 'representative sample?'

Also, people don't like being called any derogatory name.

I am a white female, and I don't want to be called a "honkey bitch" or a "WASP" even if I were a bad person.

I mean, come on, this isn't neuroscience here.
