Why do hollywood celebrities divorce so easily?

Almost all hollywood celebrities at least have 3-4 wives/husbands over time. Why does this happen
Are simple people in America also like this. Do they often divorce and not live a happy and peaceful married life with one partner forever
 
It's not just Hollywood. People have no idea what it takes to make a marriage last. Don't worry about getting married. Be with someone, live with them, know tgem before marriage ever comes into play.
 
Well sometimes, they marry to have more fame. Other times, they are just too busy with their work to spend time with their family. Or, it could be because they make decisions too fast before thinking it through. :)
 
Some do it for fame, some for money or both.

It's true, majority of Americans marriages fail. Seems like people abuse there freedom and don't take it seriously. They don't know what a marriage takes and they think they can make it work. You need to be able to love somebody unconditionally to make it work.
 
I agree with Average Joe. Its just not celebrities. Divorce is getting more and more common. People get so caught up in the passion and the heat of the romance that they forget that after the honeymoon is over you still have to wake up beside that person every morning and learn to tolerate the little things. Celebrities are constantly in the limelight and that is why we assume that they are all disasters when it comes to relationships. Being in the spotlight 24/7 must also have a strain on their relationships. Everybody always criticizing and sticking their noses where they don't belong. And how do you know when someone is really interested in you or your bank account? Being famous makes maintaining your personal life ten times harder.
 
I honestly think it's because celebrities get used to a "my way or the highway" lifestyle. So when things go south they pack up and go. Not to mention, money probably isn't an issue. A lot of people will stay in an unhappy marriage because they can't afford the divorce or child support payments if they lose custody. Just peruse around the Marriage & Divorce category and you'll see what I'm talking about. So for a celeb it's a done deal, and it's just on to the next....I suppose.
