1. I was seeing a woman for 8 years. I took care of a lot of her problems, loved her with all my might and cared for her in every way a man could possibly love a woman.
2. I made a lot of changes to my life for her. Big changes.
3. I made a lot of sacrifices for her. Big sacrifices.
4. Out of the blue she left me and went back to her ex-husband.
5. 9 months after she left me she wrote me a letter and told me that the "holy spirit" spoke to her and told her she was living in a state of adultery and that she had to forget me and go back to her ex-husband. She was doing a lot of drugs right before she left me. She never did drugs before. One day she went into Christian rehab with some church and then disappeared without a trace. That's when she had this big revelation.
6. A month ago she showed up beaten badly. Her ex-husband and 3 other men raped and beat her after an all night drinking party. I told her to go away.
7. Friday I got a letter from a hospital inside was a letter she wrote to me from a psychiatric ward. She begged me to take her back and forgive her. She said she got an abortion and now God hates her. And she asked me not to hate her.
8. The thing is when she left me two years ago she called me a fantasy. And that I was all an illusion and she had to forget me in order to forsake the sin she committed against her ex husband and Jesus.
9. I don't want to take her back.
10. If I was an illusion or a fantasy to her why does she keep contacting me asking me to take her back?
11. She hurt me real bad. I can't trust anyone any more. I date women but feel used by them. Every time I start having feelings for a woman, I have to pull back and withdraw. I usually break up with them before they get a chance to hurt me.
12. Why do I keep thinking about this woman that hurt me so bad? Why can't I forget her like she "forgot" me? Why can't I foresake her the way she did that to me?
13. All I did was love her and she hurt me. I've learned to forgive her, but I can't forget no matter how hard I try. I just can't forget.
