I hardly ever watch anything creepy or scary , yet i always have scary , or bad dreams everynight and i mean everynight , can this be controlled or does it have anything to do with my life?? Can anyone help me

are they actual nightmares? like ones you wake up in the middle of night with a racing heartbeat, and your scared to move even the slightest bit?

or just unpleasant dreams?

this is weird.... they say your dreams are based off of daily thoughts. try thinking about happy things throughout the day. smile more often.

this may be a cause of something from your past it maybe something that you saw when you were young that up to now you don't know what it was

IT MIGHT HELP TO STOP USING CAPS IT MAKES ME FEEL LIKE YOU'RE YELLING ALL THE TIME, NO WONDER YOU'VE GOT NIGHTMARES.

It might help to try and think about something really happy before you go to sleep. Have a flash back nigth and watch something from your childhood or ... a Pixar movie? Reading something that's really happy before you go to bed would work even better. Or, hell, try your hand at writing/drawing/creating something happy before you doze off.

After having so many nightmares, you're probably going to sleep dreading it and that's setting your subconscious to thoughts about the nightmares, which is a likely reason for why you keep having them.

If the dreams have a recurring theme, you should pay attention to that. It could be a forewarning about something catastrophic that will happen to you later in life.

One thing that might help get rid of the dreams is to keep a journal next to your bed, and when you wake up from a nightmare, make notes of everything you can remember from the dream. Also, you might try some lucid dreaming - so you can control your dreamself while in the nightmare. While you're falling asleep, say to yourself (silently, if you'd like) that you will remain conscious after you fall asleep. Eventually, that may help you be able to control your dream self and you might be able to do things in your dreams to make the nightmares stop.

ahahaha ^^^ billy may's dude is funny.
uhum i would recommend seeing a psychiatrist if it really bothers you. otherwise it's probably something in your subconscious.
