i seriously don't know what my problem is because i find that when i try to convey my thoughts, it's perfect in my mind but i can't push the thought out into a verbal sentence. <<< see?! i can type it out perfectly as well as think it but if you asked me to explain why i have difficulty speaking, i wouldn't have been able to say that as fast as i typed it in like 15 seconds.
i get really tongue tied. ULTRA TONGUE TIED. >_____<
sayyy, if i wanted to say this thought out loud:
i really think that cats are a nice pet to have because they're so soft and lazy.
for some odd reason, my words come out of my mouth out of order.
for example, i'd say this instead:
i really cat thinks are a nice lazy to have because they're so pet and soft.
doesn't that make me sound ridiculously stupid?! D:< i honestly sound verbally retarded when i speak.
i know what i want to say and exactly how i want to say it but IT JUST DOESN'T COME OUT THAT WAY.
i don't know if the problem might be that i speak two languages or what, but it's annoying because not only do i get horribly tongue tied, and have to stop sometimes up to 5 times to fix my wording, at times i have to pause for like 30 seconds to find the word i want to use.
what is wrong with me?! what can i do to sound okay?!
please help! thank you
the problem isn't that i'm new to english. i've always been fluent in both languages that i speak. i actually never had this odd problem as a kid. this has developed recently and is annoying me to death.
