Why do liberal Hollywood stars who live the most immoral failed lives

want tell the gov how to run things? Why to liberal Hollywood stars most of whom live lives of debauchery tend to be the most outspoken in telling the government how to run things for the rest of us ? What success have most of these people demonstrated that the Washington DC politicians should listen to make decissions that effect us all ? Thanks in advance for your answers. God bless.
 
1) Please cite which stars you are referring to.

2) Please cite the proof that their lives are more debauched than the US average citizen.

3) Please cite proof that Hollywood stars who engage in politics are the most immoral.

4) While there are a few shining examples of celebrities getting important government programs instituted, I don't know of failed programs initiated by Hollywood stars. Please cite several programs and their supporting stars.

Your question is an example of the weak critical thinking skills that burden Y/A.
 
Um, they probably feel their opinion counts so much because Conservatives keep electing them to office.

Reagan, Schwartzeneger, Sonny Bono, Fred Thompson...
 
Can you provide evidence that these people 'tell the government how to run things'? Any private citizen can talk to their senator or congressperson and tell them 'how to run things'. What evidence do you have that they listen? Why aren't you concerned that executives from the energy industry met with Cheney behind closed doors to determine energy policy in this country? Here is an example of people ACTUALLY setting policy...instead of some made up conspiracy that Hollywood types are setting policy...which they are not. They exercise their right to free speech just like the rest of us...they are not in closed door, secret meetings determining policy the way Enron was.
 
well your stereotyping a bit...give some examples...i know of some stars that live a decent life and try to help out their fellow man and government...then there are others who probably contradict themselves. your statement makes you look bitter.

Hollywood stays out of the government telling us how to live when social conservatives stay out of the government telling us how to live.
 
Because in their previous movie they were a hero, or a governor or maybe even President, and they think what they learned for their role makes them an expert. Either that or they are on some drug induced mission.
 
They don't want to be considered immoral (from people like you
and me), so they work hard to get their immoral lifestyles okayed
by government so they can have a law that seems to make it
moral (abortion, gay marriage, hate crimes, nudity, drugs, and
maybe beastiality, civil marriages, etc.) Some have already been
made a law of the land, others may be some day.
 
How do you know they are immoral, individually? They are really
successful, I don't think you can call them failures.....
They must be being rewarded for something...God must love them.

Besides that, politicians are known to be far more immoral, being caught in more debauchery than any hollywood star.

Do you know how many politicians got caught being child molesters and rapists? HUNDREDS!
When they aren't doing that, they're money laundering, taking bribes, buying prostitutes, doing drugs and lying.

LOL this is the first time I've ever heard anyone say a group of people is even more immoral than a politician! WOW!
