Why do liberal students in California protest tution fee hikes, but support

ObamaCare? The fee increases would be balanced by a raise in "the level of financial assistance for needy low- and middle-income students," according to a statement from the Board of Regents. The tuition hike is expected to raise $505 million for the university system, and about $175 million of that money would go toward financial aid for low-income students, the board said.

In other words, liberals, tuition hikes on wealthy students are necessary to subsidize low-income students - but this is exactly what ObamaCare is going to achieve.
 
SlackerCare (another name for ObamaCare) means these spoiled brats will be on their parents' insurance until they're 30.

Because most of them don't understand this thing called a budget crisis. Most college kids in California can't add 1+1 let alone figure out that California does not have the money it once did. The only kids that know that are the ones from Asia and Europe. California educated kids are stupid. Just look at where California schools rank in the Nation. I dare you. You'd be surprised to find out that all the "dumb redneck states" rank higher. Heck, all the states rank higher. California is the Stupid State.
 
because their tuition isnt going to be (unfairly) paid for (at least in part by) the upper class.
 
Because the students aren't getting anything new from their tuition hikes whereas the improvements to health care that reform will bring will be well worth the price.

Because college kids have not lived in the "real" world and don't know how to found out the truth for themselves. They get their info from idiots like Jon Stewart.
