Ok, so I see a lot of Catholic schools say like "Our Lady Of" something, and I was just wondering why they have "Our Lady Of..." in their titles. Who is Our Lady? And why is she in the name of the schools? Sorry if this isn't very clear...
our lady of.... are various incarnations of Mary - Jesus Mom. Mary's job from God has been to bring Jesus to the people so..... what a better name for a school or parish that is trying to do the same thing.... bring people to Jesus
