What makes the Christian view of homosexuality any more important than the Buddhist view of killing and the death penalty?

Your question doesn't really make sense.

I am with you on the issues but the question lacks a logical foundation.

Buddhists still oppose the death penalty, right? Buddhists still actively protest, right? I have seen Buddhists light themselves on fire.

To a Buddhist, this question of killing by way of the death penalty IS more important. So why the skewed question?
 
Well...we can't have it both ways. I mean there are probably some things that are accepted (aka: abortion) that go against our beliefs...and we have to accept it as law. So we know it is wrong and good thing (in my opinion) that we don't have to accept homosexuality as law...or stuff...that's my opinion...see we all are entitled to one. I mean i have nothing against gay people. I actually think they are like so cool cuz they seem to be really free...but I'm also very religious and sometimes both things interlap so we have to evaluate to what extent we agree on our views.
