Why do people care so much about another person's sexuality?

I can understand why you'd be interested to know the sexuality of close family & friends.

But why do people care about things such as homosexual people living next door ? After all no one cares if left-handed people live there or red-haired people. Why does it bother people so much to see people of a different sexual orientation, even though they have no social interaction with them whatsoever ?
 
Who cares?

No, I mean really, who are you talking about? I don't know anybody who obsesses over that kind of thing. Maybe it's just the people you hang around.
 
people are afraid of their children seeing "unnatural and Sinful" relationships. they are afraid that if their children see it, it will make them "sinful"

that is the only thing I can come up with...honestly i don't want people to concern themselves with what i do to my partner behind our bedroom's closed doors just i don't care to know whats in their Chest of unusual oddities.....
 
never understood it myself how does it affect you? its just weired meh enough cos i cant be asked answering to much
 
I have no idea, I'm a gay guy, and I find that people see you differently when you tell them that you are gay. But I don't see why it's such a big deal, I like guys, so what.
 
I have no idea why people are weird like that. I'm not like that at all. I don't walk down the street thinking about the sex lives of everyone I see. Never understood it, never will.
