Why do people complain where teenagers shop?

"Different" teenagers and adults say that teens are walking billboards for wearing clothes from American Eagle, Hollister, and Abercrombie. My question is, where else are these teens supposed to buy clothes from. These companies market towards teens, so its only reasonable that a lot of teenagers shop there? Where else are they supposed to shop? Should every teen shop at Gap, Old Navy, or Walmart?

I dont understand when people hate on teens who purchase from these stores, when they teen demographic oriented stores.
 
i shop JC Penney sometimes too..like for jeans and stuff..
Those stores are too expensive and I don't have money to be "advertising" them 24/7
