Why do people decide to leave there brains at home when they go on holiday?

I have worked in the hotel industry for 10 years now, and I still get suprised by what I get asked...
Today a guest rang me from the room to ask ''Is it raining at the moment?'' I wanted to say '' Look out your F**king window!''. Please share your experiences
 
The brain is the first thing I want to leave behind when I go on holiday. So some common sense gets left with behind with it, doesn't matter, I'm paying someone else to do my thinking for me.

10 years in the industry and you haven't figured that out? :)
 
They could not be bothered to look out the window to check the weather!!! How lazy can you get!!!

... that's sort of like when people here on YA! cannot be troubled to Google for themselves!!
