Why do people disagree with Pope Benedict's comments about Aids?

Right, when I heard his comments I though 'how?',
but just thinking about it, he's right.
If you were to get a condom and fill it up with water and leave it for a few hours or something like that, you will be able to see that the water would start to come through the condom. Viruses like AIDS, are smaller than a water molecule, so viruses and bacteria can get through condoms (probably at a faster rate), which means a person can get any STD at any time, even if they use one (contrary to popular belief) it doesn't matter.
A condom is only used to prevent pregnancy's anyway.....
which is the point that the Pope was getting at..... the use of contraception in the effort to stop a disease you cant prevent yourself from getting is only preventing life than preventing a disease which is inevitable.
'Certain STD's' doesnt mean 'all'. Therefor there is still a chance. Because there are certain std's that encorage Aid's.
It hasnt been proven that you cant get Aids if you wear a condom anyway.

"A condom is a device most commonly used during sexual intercourse. It is put on a man's erect penis and physically blocks ejaculated semen from entering the body of a sexual partner. **Condoms are used to prevent pregnancy and transmission of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs—such as gonorrhea, syphilis, and HIV).** Because condoms are waterproof, elastic, and durable, they are also used in a variety of secondary applications. These range from creating waterproof microphones to protecting rifle barrels from clogging."
