I've actually never heard of "blaming all religions equally" for terrorism.

Christian terrorism isn't an issue anymore. They grew out of it a century or so ago.

Islam hasn't caught up yet.
 
"People" persist in blaming all religions equally for terrorism because it would be much more difficult to have terrorism without religion. Think about it this way,

You have one group of people over here going "Oh hey look everyone, we are right! We know the truth, follow us!" Another group is going "You're wrong! We have the right way over here!"
(Oh hey look is that like major religions?)

If neither side is going to back down, there will naturally be conflict. This conflict (not necessarily unhealthy conflict) will however eventually over time spawn an extremist in one group or the other. This extremist's ideology can become be the gateway to terrorism.

People blame all religions for terrorism because if you remove both groups, then the extremist has no reason to be there; there is no one for the extremist to fight against.
 
I don't, some certainly have a more violent record than others.

Communism was itself the state religion.

You have just blamed atheists equally for the acts done under communism in the same breath decrying people who blame all religions equally for terrorism.

You should be ashamed.
 
B/c they're Islamo appeasement-oriented PC bullshit-artists. I used to believe that it was the left doing this but, sadly, even the right does this, although, I doubt they do it nearly as much.
 
ALL RELIGIONS have one reason to exist -- the CONTROL OF OTHER PEOPLE'S MINDS.

That's all religion of any kind if for -- control of the masses. Every religion says "if you don't believe X, you are an infidel, and we need to kill you"

That's why ALL religions should be banned, and anyone who practices any one of them should be killed.
Get rid of them I say. Only weak people need them anyway.

Yes, Timothy McVeigh. No, but seriously, religions can't get along. Religion and most of them are the reason for global disasters because they lead to another form of destruction.
 
No...Muslims were NOT the cause of terrorism...Islam is about peace. It's extremists who cause terrorism...NOT MUSLIMS.
