Ignorance and stupidity. Sum people are too overly mistrustful of the media. Just as they are of the world. THey expect the world to "make them feel good" about themsleves.

Because some politicians were called on the phone to not fly to New York on Sept. 11. Because the passport found on the ground at ground zero was not destroyed by the immense flames. Because the former mayor of NYC had the scrap/remains sent off to be buried before they could be examined. And there are a lot of other reasons. George W. Bush got his first loan from the Bin Laden family. Etc.
