why do people think family guy is funnier and smarter than south park ?

ok so my friend said that family guy is way funnier than south park! she asid south park and "immature"
 
Both are funny! Family guy uses a lot of jokes that I don't understand, just because I don't know the person they are making fun of, or uses scenes from movies I have not seen. That is probably why she thinks its smarter. as to funny, that is her opinion. I agree with her, however I don't watch south park enough to get all their jokes.
