they dont feel he gives fair representation. and earlier in his tenure, i remember ochocinco getting fined left and right because of harmless things that wasnt specifically stated, but apparently were against the rules. like fake bribing a ref or t.o. signing a ball with a sharpie, etc. also, because its him and only him. theres no board to keep sort of a check and balance. he dishes out of the punishment and if you want to appeal, guess who you have to go to? it was stupid on the players part in a lot of ways because instead of having a board, they let him have control and took majority money instead. i didnt like him at the beginning though because i liked how he cleaned up the league, but i felt like he took some things too far. for example, he fined ochocinco more for waering golden shoes than someone who committed an actual crime. i use to have this list of goodell fines but it cant find it.
edit: and there were issues about whats illegal and whats not. if you ever saw the video that he issued out a few years ago, he showed 2 plays: legal and illegal hit. it was ray lewis on dustin keller and deemed a legal hit, but then there was a 2nd one that was the exact same thing basically, but deemed illegal. the nfl has it on their website.
