and unAmerican when they? were calling these same words to anti-Iraq war protesters and to the Dixie Chicks?
Dry shaving me - sorry but Iraq had NOTHING to do with 9/11. Try again.
vicsikix - I was talking about the Iraq War protestors - you saying those were paid? Stay on point. I know it's hard to think coherent thoughts.
Larry - as you are proving bc you DISAGREE with them, you think it is correct to label them that way. Thanks for demonstrating your hypocrisy.
By the way Larry - the Dixie Chicks slammed GWB, not America. Try again.

Republicans and the right wingers are not used to being in the position of utter helplessness when it comes to political power. They have lost all three branches of government and have become a mostly isolated group of bigots.
So, in my opinion they dont want to face the music. The country has changed and they are the have nots now. It is hypocricy and I for one think it is absoluetly hilarious.
YOU LIE.....If you have to yell at the prez you have already lost.
Your assistant

Those who actually go to war in the name of patioticiam are actually un American. America according to its constitution is only meant to participate in declared wars and then only to directly protect its borders for direct threat. All the wars that it is participating in at the moment are not constitutional and in that regard are non american.

You certainly weren't at the teaparty I went to. It was a peaceful demonstration. Noone condemned Obama. We prayed and we talked about our freedoms that are being stripped from us. We talked about watching our hard earned dollars go to those who choose not to work or contribute to society. We talked about how we put ourselves through college with our last dime, not someone else's dime. We talked about our country's history. We talked about God. We waved our American flags and spoke proudly of America.

The Dixie Chicks slammed America all together and the anti-Iraq protestors spewed lies about our president and condemned our soldiers abusing the freedoms that soldiers in the past have given them.

Capitalism the republican way only no one has the right of a different view. The Southern old man white way!
Can't we all just get along.

Being anti war I protest this.

U.S. military expenditures = the world's military budget. 44.4% of taxes pay for it.

Being anti big socialist government I also protest this.

Note the $60 trillion in unfunded liabilities for socialist programs.

Go to a tea party protest instead of letting the media tell you what to think. You may be surprised at some of it.

Typically politics are like religion, if you have strong beliefs it's because you hold those beliefs to be hard and fast facts. For instance to a far right winger it's down right American to support expansionist policy, traditional values, market freedom and so on. To them these are the ideals that your country was built on. To be against them is unAmerican.

For a left winger the same is true, they believe their nation was built on freedom of speech, the ability to rise from rags to riches the government helping the individual and so on.

Both parties look at the same flag and see completely different things, of course the truth lies somewhere in the middle. Yet both believe that what they believe in is best for the nation and that the others views are detrimental. You'll always have discourse and hypocritical discourse because the population is diverse.

To be more specific to this question, the reason a group of people who called other protesters unpatriotic would be angry that they would themselves be called the same is because in their minds they are the true patriots, they are standing up for what the national was built on. Who likes to be called down when they think they are doing good? If you helped an old lady across the street, wouldn't you be angry if you were accused of just hoping she was going to give you a buck or two for the effort?

But as I said before, and I do hate to say it, this will always happen. Next time the rights call the lefts unpatriotic the lefts will still cry about the nation being built on free speech and then they'll turn around at next opportunity and call the rights unpatriotic.....

*sigh*

Because anti-war protesters and the Chicksie Dix actually ARE un-patriotic and un-American. That's just the way it is.

If right-wingers are tea-baggers, then left-wing liberals are the ones who are getting tea-bagged. LOL!

How do you like that, leftie liberal tea-baggees??? I guess all you leftist liberals are learning to love the taste of getting tea-bagged, huh??? Ha-ha-ha!

Extra vinegary just for you, liberals! Slurp on it!

Depends on how you define WHO is truly unAmerican and unpatriotic. Those teabaggers are true and passionate, unlike the "paid" protesters the libs have to "teach" and send out.......

Hypocrisy is a condition precedent for being a conservative these days.

Too bad, really.
