Why do some Christians try to assert their faith on to others?

We see it all the time. If you are not Christian they say things like "Well, it doesn't matter what you think, Jesus is the truth." Which makes them look totally ridiculous because faith is a personal belief, not something you can force on someone, and will make them think "I don't want to have anything to do with those people who are so conceited."

Why is it so hard for people of two religions, who both believe in a God, to get along?

It is no different from a person who thinks green is the most beautiful color talking to someone saying "well, red is the most beautiful color there is" because faith, like colors, is a matter of opinion for that particular person. Just because someone does not subscribe to one religion, does not make the other false. The universe is infinite in possibilities, dimensions, and potential. There is not one person who can state that their religion is fact, and furthermore they can't say the other is false.
Jesus has in fact, never been proven to exist. The closest they ever got was the shroud, which was proven to be made by monks long long after the alleged death of the Jesus.
FAITH IN JESUS ***IS*** A MATTER OF OPINION BECAUSE YOU HAVE A CHOICE TO BELIEVE.
WHAT YOU CALL SINS I CALL SIMPLY TYING MY SHOES IN A KNOT. **SIN** IS A MATTER OF OPINION IN RELIGION.
Belief in a Jesus is not better than a cure for cancer. Sorry but that is sad and ridiculous to say. Something a fanatical person might think, but that is only .0001% of people fortunately.

The seed of love needs help too, to get his message across to us, the seed of doubt does knows this only to well.

Because Jesus commanded it!
Mat 24:14 ; Mat 28:19...

And it's not like colors. For choosing a color is an OPINION, faith is not an opinion.
(Heb 11.........The Hall of FAITH)

Some people think that by doing this they could help save you from hell. They believe that if they help you to get on the right track and show you the right way then you could have a chance of going to heaven.

Jesus said beware of false prophets and deceivers appearing one way and are really on something else. Also our Father says where two or three are gathered in my name then there i will be also. Just because people say Lord Lord does not mean our Father is who they are calling on.

Jesus never said that it was even remotely possible for God's love to be forced one anyone. If God will not force you to love him, how can man?

Jesus said: "as I have loved you, so love one another. By this, all people will know that you are my disciples: if you love one another."

ok, so i didn't read the entirety of your explanation because who you're explaining are hard-heads who need to relax and calm down. In my experience I bring up my religion (not force) to my friends who do not believe in God because I care about them and want them to be happy and also am concerned about their [eternal] life. This is risky for me to even do because I am relatively new to my faith but even so I try my hardest to nswer questions and im beginning to ramble...
In the end it's because I care and I want to make sure that other people can experience the wonders that I have since I converted =)
