...necessary to live? in a realistic view of life, faith serves only as comfort for people who are too weak-minded to face the facts of life, if you are capable of surpassing the need for faith, that mind set alone already has a potential to surpass the average mind set that limits the boundaries of logic and reasoning, and that is the start of the makings of a person with a knack to discover and find answers, a great person whose life truly has the potential to help mankind move forward in the fields of knowledge and existence.

this is just one scenario of how life is perfectly capable of living without faith, i don't understand how some people still believe faith is a necessity
 
i agree with everything you just said, faith is for the weak who can't handle the truth
 
Bible sez Honor thy temple and keep it holy, meaning dont pollute ur body wit things that'll kill u, and it also sez you'll live longer if u listen 2 ur parents, which is true cuz they want u 2 learn from they mistakes. Plus the idea of god prolly keeps em from comittin suicide, which would not b livin lol
 
I want to respond. So i will, my family owns a $150,000,000 business collapsed by socialization (e.g. the housing collapse) And a rental company also losing money. They've both been profitable for the past 100+ years.

Atheist are collectivist by race, religion, class, and gender. Which causes resentment and racism. And you can tell while driving. People resent each other at the moment and its getting....worse not better.

Economically the banks are still insolvent. When they print money, it causes inflation. So no matter how much they print.....the banks are still insolvent. You have less money for your needs and therefore less money to repay the bank. We don't trade.

My family owns a 1000 acres of natural gas. Even when everything collapses, i would/could be more capable then 99.9999999% of the population to survive.

Lastly, if you want to pass the average mindset....you have to have wisdom. Wisdom comes through God. Individualism and not collectivism and socialism.

I love wisdom. God provides me with wisdom. Helps me sucede in life even when massive government is deciding who wins and who loses.

And i have hope. God is within me, I am in Christ. God is fun to know. And he's coming.....soon.
 
Realistically if those people really believe that then they are classified as a suicide risk and possible risk to others since even a minor slip in faith would have seriously life threatening consequences!

So nothing to do with faith and everything to do with their psychological problems!

Because they put a lot of effort into it, all that singing and clapping has to produce something!

Considering that the great void waits beyond your life, and that even nothing has no meaning, and that even present meaning has no meaning, why do you even bother to ask the question?
 
Interesting viewpoint. You know how gullible the mind/brain is, right? You feed it anything, it's ready to believe. They have been indoctrinated from childhood and therefore it has become their basic moral to not let go of the belief in god, no matter how silly it is. They have also been told of 'hell'. Since it is their 'basic moral', it is hard for them to face reality because they would have to start all over as far as morality goes and question all their beliefs; when in fact religion is not required for morality.
 
.Ah but, there is so much moire than just faith, my friend. Faith is just one of many steps to spiritual enlightenment. It becomes a way of life, 24/7. It takes you to heights very few ever attain in this life and the perks are phenomenally out of this world.
But hey, if you aren't willing to even give it a try, don't waste your time. God does not force His Goodness and Fullness on anyone. He does not need anything from us because He already has it All. And, mankind would not even exist without Him. But, He IS there for each and every one of us whether we want Him or - not. Suit yourself, after all - it's your choice. :D
