Now I tell you before it comes, that when it does come to pass, you may believe that I am He.
in the Bible there are many prophecies concerning the events of the last days, while the fulfillment of a handful of these could be a cioncidence, but how can you refute the fulfillment of so many?
the Bible prophecies ungodliness in the last days, while there have always been people who fulfill these, i cant help but argue that we have seen a huge increase in people living in this way in the past few decades.
2 Timothy 3:1-5
1But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.
the Bible also prophecies that the Gospel would be preached to all nations, with increases in travel, the internet, radio, and television programs, portions or all of the Bible have been translated into over 2,300 languages and dialects covering over 90% of the world's population.
Matthew 24:14
14And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
that there would be war around the world ( possibly world wars 1 and 2) there are over 50 major armed conflicts in the world today, note also this verse does not refer to the existance of war but a dramatic increase of it.
Mark 13:8
8Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
the earth would be filled with violence, In the United States alone, violent crime has increased nearly 500% since 1960, again not meaning the existance of violence worldwide but a dramatic increase of it.
Luke 17:26
26"Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man.
Genesis 6:11
11 Now the earth was corrupt in God's sight and was full of violence.
that many would travel to and fro to gain knowlege, in 2006 there were over 229,640 international students from outside the european union studying in the UK alone, between the years of 2000 to 2006 this number increased by 48%.
Daniel 12:4
4 But you, Daniel, close up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge."
that the nation of israel would be born in one day, On May 14, 1948 Israel became a nation
Isaiah 66:8
8 Who has ever heard of such a thing?
Who has ever seen such things?
Can a country be born in a day
or a nation be brought forth in a moment?
Yet no sooner is Zion in labor
than she gives birth to her children.
these are only a few
if you cannot refute these prophecies, and yet still deny that they are true and that the Bible is God's word, why do you ignore this? remember that all of the prophecies i have talked about have been fulfilled within (and not before) the past century, that is less than a 100 year span of 2000. with these prophecies not stating that ' in the future this will happen' but ' in the last days'. i'm only asking that you consider these prophecies or why you ignore them
Jeremiah 17:9
9 The heart is deceitful above all things
and beyond cure.
