Why does everyone whine about affirmative action?

I'm not sure since white women, thus white people as a whole, have benefited from it more than any black person ever has.

I have my degree and I don't ever remember filling out an application for affirmative action. Matter of fact, when I filled out my FAFSA requests online, I elected not to reveal my ethnicity. Does that automatically give me the action, lol? You know how some people think that is the only way blacks succeed, lol!.

Harvard college is no different from a 4-year college/university.

Seriously, college has the same level of course-work than any other college, that's why they CALL it college. People are idoits crying over about going to top schools really> ? School ---> school.

stupid stupid stupid.

AA leaves out asians b/c they are well represented in college.

Smart people can be stupid people sometimes.

Some of us believe in the concept of meritocracy; the idea that the person who gets the job should be the one who is best able to do it, regardless of race or gender, and that the person who gets the scholarship or gets into the college should be the one who is most qualified and has put forth the most effort, again regardless of race or gender.

So you could say that people who "whine" about affirmative action are those who really believe in equality.
