it is not just IE with this issue firefox 3 and even chrome have this issue with adobe flash. I think this has more to do with the latest release of adobe player then it does anything else I have since rolled back to a older player and am not having any issues. This is also why you are seeing more developers move toward silverlight from Microsoft as since adobe has bought macromedia there have been more and more issues.
