Why does Islam, Judaism and Christianity oppose gay marriage?

Despite what individuals may feel about it, Judaism is officially oppose to same sex marriage. This is what the Midrash says:

"Rabbi Huna said in the name of Rabbi Joseph, 'The generation of the Flood was not wiped out until they wrote marriage documents for the union of a man to a male or to an animal.'"
So what is more important to Jews - the Torah, the Midrash or the "CCRC" (or whatever its called)?
 
Christianity is Opposed To Marriage

Contrary to the financially self-serving teaching of churchanity,both Jesus and His Apostle Paul REPEATEDLY made it clear in their teachings that true Christians should not marry.

Luke 20:34-36
34 Jesus answered and said to them, “The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage. 35 But those who are counted worthy to attain that age, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry nor are given in marriage; 36 nor can they die anymore, for they are equal to the angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.
 
The 3 religions share many of the same religious texts that make up their holy books. It's in the books and is considered the word of God. Kind of hard to argue with God.
 
Why does anybody oppose anything?
Because they believe it is wrong.

The CCAR, the Reform movement's rabbinical council, took an early and active role in fighting for gay rights. In 1977 it drafted a call to decriminalize homosexual sex and to end all discrimination based on sexual orientation.

Edit: You are either very confused or you're a troll, I don't know which. Jews are not following the CCAR, the CCAR is speaking for their membership. Are you able to understand that simple concept?

Also, in case you don't know, *most* Jews today also eat bacon or cheeseburgers.
 
I don't quite get it. If you don't believe in gay marriage, don't marry someone of the same sex.

It's not possible to control the behavior of others, it's hard enough for people to control their own.

My religious beliefs discourage homosexuality, but I don't have any business telling other people how they should live their lives.
 
Because those religions don't teach about everyone having the same value, and they don't care about other people being happy.

Anal sex is gross,unclean and unfruitful. They proved that thousands of years ago. There is no buggery in heaven.
 
Leviticus, Deuteronomy, the Four Gospels, Q'uran, and various other canonized scriptural references.

That's why. Basically speaking they don't want same-sex marriages because the books say its a no-no.

Because their morality is based upon justifiable prejudice, homicide, war, and genocide. I will call these people loving and moral, when they act as such. Words are meaningless, even a Gods, unless actions back them up.
