The brakes on my Dodge Dakota are really mushy. I feel like I have to push the pedal all the way to the floor to get them to catch. It's not a good feeling....like I'm not going to stop. The front brakes were squeaking and the rotors were grooved, so I replaced the rotors and pads. I was hoping this would help the issue, but they feel just as mushy as ever. Anyone else have similar problems? Any ideas on how to fix it?

bad master cylinder or bad calipers dodges are notorious for the caliper piston swelling and ruining front brake pads and rotors so check them first
hope this helps

mite have a brake line leak prolly a line going to the back

Are they making noise ? If not sounds like air in the lines.

You need to bleed your brakes.
