I have a suzuki rf 600 r that takes a little time to start up and when it does, it tends to run very poorly under low rpm and stalls when giving it throttle too quickly (this does not change after using choke unless used for a rather long time). It does however run well under higher rpm regardless of whether It's cold or warm. After driving around for a few minutes there's no problem with throttle response or power anymore and I can give it plenty of gas under low rpm without it stalling. You might say it's simply not warmed up BUT I happened to run out of gas a few meters from a gas station so I went and filled it up. The bike was still warm but it had the same lousy throttle response when I started it up. After a few minutes of driving it went away as usual. I'm wondering if this has something to do with the fuel system rather than engine temperature. Any ideas? Faulty fuel pump relay? Bad fuel pump or filter or even something else?
