Why does my cd player in my car skip cds?

So I have a 2008 Corolla, and all of the sudden my CD player decided to go bad out of no where. It was working perfectly fine, and one day it just decided to start skipping all my CDs. Do I need to clean it? Or has my CD player just stopped working?
 
Its probably the dampeners in the player or you got some dust in the Player.
You should Put through a CD Laser Cleaning Disk and see if that helps at all.
If its a 2008 you should probably have your warranty still (?) you should call up Toyota and see if your warranty will cover them to have a look.
 
Check your CD. When that happens, it usually means your CD got scratched pretty badly. Try other CDs(not scratched!) and see if they skip too (if they do, then there's probably something wrong with your CD player).
