I hit my funny bone very hard on the arm of a chair about a month ago, if not longer, and it still hurts from time to time. I don't have numbness or tingling, but when I rest my arm just right on a table or armrest, etc, I have pain that is sometimes mild and sometimes very sharp. My range of motion is fine, there was never any bruising or swelling, and I can't really make it hurt if I try to look for the spot. Any ideas why it hasn't gone away? Could I have nerve damage from hitting it so hard?
