Why does my jailbroken iphone 2g reset itself the next day after i turned it off,?

i jailbroke my iphone 2g in order to unlock it but when i turn it off to go to sleep, the next when i turn it on it seems to reset itself and on the screen it shows the sync to itunes logo on. How do i fix it so when i turn it on the next day it runs normally. I NEED HELP I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE ANY SUGGESTIONS.

when you jailbreak your ipod you NEVER turn off your ipod unless you want to resync your ipod. if you want to save your battery then just leave it charging over night with a usb mains charger.
