I keep moaning to my hubby about my brakes, when im at a junction I can push the brake pedal all the way to the floor.Ive been driving for 20 yrs & have had numerous vehicles to which none have ever done this.
My hubby says my brakes work fine but I don't believe I should be able to do this.
Can anybody who has knowledge clear up my argument with him please.
Thanks to all who reply with a + answer. jx

Hide your life insurance policy away from your hubby, lol.

Get that motor down to the garage as the fluids are dangerously low and can easily be topped up as well as a proper motor mechanic giving real advice and a sound once over.

you`re driving a car with a brake pedal that goes to the floor..errr how do you stop? The car is extremely dangerous to drive and hubby is wrong!

They should NOT be able to go down to the floor.

Get them fixed by a garage, it's dangerous to drive with them in that state.

If the pedal sinks whilst depressed for any period of time, it indicates a leaking master cylinder or failing flexible hoses. Either are potentially fatal to you or other road users, so tell hubby to shut up & take the car to a garage.

sounds like there isn't enough brake fluid in the pipes, get it checked at a garage.
