It started with one little white doton the screen, know it has over 10 white dots. I just want to know if anyone knows how to fix this problem, or what should i do.
I am having the same issue with my DLP WD-65733. This is the third Mitsubishi I have own but different models. I use to swear by the brand but after this, I would not recommend. The TV is only three years old.
I have the same exact model (WD-65733) and have the same exact problem and mine is just over 3 1/2 years old. I called Mitsubishi's Consumer Relations (800-332-2119) and filed a case # with them about the problem. I was given the number of a service center close to me to have the set diagnosed and have to email the results as well as proof of purchase to them and they will let me know if they are going to cover the charges.
I searched the problem online when my tv got it's first white dot and found it to be a VERY common problem with this model and other Mitsubishi models as well. I only hope Mitsubishi does the right thing and fixes this problem for everyone. I paid almost $2,000 for the tv and I, personally, believe I should get more for the money I spent than 3 1/2 years of service. If Mitsubishi does not take care of this problem (especially since it seems to be such a common problem) I will NEVER EVER EVER buy ANYTHING that says Mitsubishi again.
Good luck to everyone experiencing this issue!!!
