...high pitched today? Maybe the vocal chords become withered as we age so our voice ages along with our skin, hair, and the rest of our body. Or maybe it's because he was imitating a New Jersey accent for the Daniel LaRusso character and doesn't sound like that at all offscreen (sort of like how Jaleel White's voice in real life is a lot deeper than his whiny Steve Urkel voice in Family Matters).
