Why does this sound like crap?

I have had 2 underpowered kickers and they sounded better then this.

my amp is a EarthquakeT2000WD/1 it is a mono block and puts out 1000rms
my sup is a 12" pionneer 3000watts 1000rms competion sub.
this thing is gettin the right amount of power but sounds so soft it not funny like im quite upset
like by crap i mean its not as loud as my kickers sound :'(

You could be experiencing inductive pickup. Are you properly grounded? Keep your speaker wires far from your power wire. The current will distort sound.
