syrup? Michelle Obama says she is so concerned about people's health and nutrition, then why doesn't she introduce a bill to congress to ban the use of fructose and high fructose corn syrups in soda pop and other processed foods? Below is a link about how unhealthy fructose and high fructose corn syrup is.

I know you have to "pick your battles," but perhaps Michelle Obama is picking the wrong ones by going after public school lunches. Or maybe that is the easiest battle since, public schools are controlled and regulated by the government.

As long as food is required to be truthfully labeled, and the information is out there for people about the effects of HFCS, then a ban is an unreasonable intrusion on the people's right to decide. People can make their own decisions, and decide not to buy those products.

I do agree with the government not allowing schools to offer it, because children cannot make rational, informed, intelligent choices.
