I have recently bought an Acer laptop from my local Walmart and am running Windows Vista 32-bit to my knowledge. I installed Motorola Phone Tools and installed all the updates up to the point that it wouldn't go any further and it worked fine on Vista, that is until I restarted my laptop. Upon turning the laptop back on, my computer starting popping up messages saying that it couldn't find a sound driver, and my touchpad AND keyboard did not work at all. The only way to perform a system restore was to use a USB mouse which for some odd reason worked. Can anyone explain why this happened only AFTER i restarted the computer? I desperately need Motorola Phone Tools on my laptop for my phone but I can't afford for it to keep screwing up my computer at the same time. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
