It teaches pressure point grappling BJJ teaches no pressure point grappling at all. Look it up you brain washed people. Ryukyu Kempo is from Okinawa Japan. Jeeze. It's not that hard to learn and bjj is overrated.

UFC is a great place to test these theories. Have you noticed that the best fighters train in more than one style?

The Kenpo that Lidell and the other guy learned IS NOT Ryukyu Kempo. It is NOT the same as any other Kempo - it is a Lineage of Shorin Ryu.

Ryukyu Kempo, as taught by Taika Seiyu Oyata - is superior to most of the karate being taught today.

Oyata Sensei is a Master of Masters and has proved his Kyushojutsu against ALL COMERS!

BJJ is not too overrated, yes it isn't the end all be all, just not as deadly as some arts.. but no art is better than another either... pressure points are good, but if I am not mistaken isn't submissions just putting pressure on certain parts of the body to inflict pain, similar to the blood pressure points...

Ryukyu is a good martial art, Liddell practices it. a lot of arts use pressure points though, and they are effective.. you are right on that.. unless you are in a competiton where you have grappling gloves on, then it is hard to get the pressure point pinched correctly.

chuck liddel and frank mir have kempo tattooed on them so they give it creditability
