I've been going to an MMA gym and train, and at first I was expecting there to be 90% college or military background wrestlers, and thought I was going to be in for it (get my *** kicked) , like how it was my freshman year in high school, but it turned out to be quite the opposite- I go in there, and there is only one college-level wrestler, and maybe another high school wrestler, and the rest are people who are average, or have some other martial arts background. Apparently I'm stronger and can tap out most of these guys, and so could probably anybody with a wrestling background. How come other wrestlers don't try MMA? They would do very well. Am I in the wrong place?
I AM TALKING ABOUT REAL WRESTLING (Collegiate, freestyle,Greco-Roman, etc), NOT THAT FAKE BULL S****T. Please answer correctly, and don't answer if you watch UFC and don't train or wrestle. Thanks

some people just dont wanna do mma, alot of people who wrestle in hs or college attempt WWE or some other form of Proffesional wrestling, for various reason, some feel that its dangerous and alot of times can ruin personal appearances and shorten your life span, for those who do go to the wwe like to spark reactions from a crowd, get payed good, and still do what they love...sorta. and they could possibly spin off into an acting career EX. The Rock, John Cena, Kane, Mr. Kennedy. theres more oppurtunity in the wwe.

Respect to all athletes who go to the WWE or MMA
