why dose it matter that i used a #3 penciel instead of a #2 penciel on my quiz?

I seem to recall that this is because a #3 smudges too easily, so it's hard to read sometimes.
 
I think it matters more if you check your spelling. If it is a scantron test, the scanner detects the marks left by a no. 2 pencil, or HB pencil better, and gives more accurate results when a no. 2 pencil is used. A no. 3 pencil is a harder lead, and does not leave the same blackness as a no. 2 pencil mark. It is lighter. The scantron machine could easily mark it as a no answer if it did not detect the mark. if it is not a scantron, and it is just going to be read by the teacher, the teacher probably just likes the darker no. 2 pencil.
 
Is there an answer sheet which is graded by machine? Years ago such a thing existed, and the sensor would not sense adequately markings not as dark as a #2 pencil.
