In 1990 I had to rent a car while my truck was being repaired. I rented a small car, a Geo Metro. I loved this little station wagon. It was comfortable and I got,,, no kidding ,, 52 mile a gallon on the highway. It was only a three banger but did have a lot of get-up and go. My question is why was this car discontinued. Incidentally ,, the 1986 Chevy V6 automatic pick-up I was having repaired got as much as 32MPG highway.... why brag about 33 MPG
