Why is Alice's Adventures In Wonderland banned?

I read online that Alice's Adventures In Wonderland is banned. I'm reading the book, but I don't know why its banned.
What I mean is that it's banned from some school systems

It is because some old-fashioned people do not understand it and it scares them. It is the same as banning Harry Potter (not Twilight, I have noticed), and even some Emily Dickenson books...

"I do not understand, therefore I will not allow others to read it."
