Why is Hollywood Mostly Liberal?

Why do you think it is that most of your actors and whomever from Hollywood vote Democrat? What is it about being a celebrity that makes you become liberal? I know there are conservative actors out there, but we all know that they are greatly out numbered by their counterparts. Why do you think that is?
 
Maybe its because they genuinely care for other fellow humans, and are not obsessed with who's screwing who in their own beds, or don't judge people on the color of their skin but by their character, and maybe they're not trying to ram their religion down everyone's throat, or trying to tell women what they can or can't do with their bodies and ..............
 
Those who use the arts as a means to make a living always tend to be liberal. Money for nothing and your chicks for free. It's not exactly hard work.
 
K'lee has a great point...I will ellaborate more...If you sit at home on your ranch in arkansas, alabama, insert any other dumbfuck southern town, and look at the world through your bible colored glasses, and see only arkansas, alabama, insert any other dumbfuck southern town, then you are bound to be a closeminded conservative. If you step out into the world, go to places that are poverty driven, go where disaster's strike, and live your life free of the burdens of feeling the need to vote based on a book written thousands of years ago, about a man whom never lived, and another man who lived years before the book was wrote, passed down before being wrote...translated and rewrote hundreds of thousands of times, claimed and banished many times and is now being interpreted by a human who claims he has that right...They will vote the right way...which is Left...and Steelers...Of those 4 you listed...I will give you one...a half for two guys. Bruce Willis did some good stuff, but has also done some major crap, and Denzel is good in 1 role...the badass cop/security officer/policing type figure...so there is 1 full actor that is "Good" and conservative...Sly was a porn star, and should have stuck to it...two words "Judge Dredd" and Matthew is TERRIBLE...Romantic comedies? Yuck

Because conservatives are conformists and close-minded and therefore not creative.
 
Creative people who are exposed to different cultures and lifestyles and are usually liberal. Close minded people who are xenophobic are usually conservative.
