1. With any topic I find that the more I learn, the more I am aware of how little I know. Also, as I learn, my understanding gives me new material to question.
2. Many religions fail the tests. A lot of people's expectations are skewed by religion. The result is that many are disillusioned with God for things He failed to do for them, or they blame Him for things He has not done. It's a shame that religious leadership is the source of a great deal of pain in this world, and God takes the blame.
FYI-I grew up "nothing", yet always stood against religion. Now that I am a saved child of God, I am STILL AGAINST RELIGION. True, biblical Christianity is freedom. A real Christian delights in God. Religion is often abused by men to control, manipulate, or profit from others. Biblical Christians with local churches that follow the patterns laid out in the Holy Bible are not controlled by such issues. (They are rare.)
