why is it when i use my motorola bluetooth headset that call of duty 4 seems to lag?

well if your on a ps3 it might be because of the tooth.when i play soul sacibur 4 i always unplug mine beacuse it makes it lag.use a offical sony headset and (as sony says)it will go away.
 
whenever i connect my headset everything lags. it didn't used to do this, and i used to play that game all the time. Help?
