Why is my blueray player doing creepy things?

Okay, it just randomly turned off and it keeps flashing the words "SEE YOU" over and over again, it refuses to turn back on. Why is it doing this?

It could be a software problem with the device ! If it is now out of warranty don't bother paying for a repair just get a new one they are pretty cheap now.
If it is in warranty though just take it back to wherever you purchased it from and ask for a repair or a replacement.
