Why is my car audio capacitor draining my battery?

I have 4000W amp and 3 fared Cap. My amp remote wire is switched so that i can deactivate it when my family is in the car. When my car is off and my amp is off my Cap stays on and with time drains my battery. What can i do to stop this? Is my cap bad?

If the cap is allowed to drain, it will charge back up and keep sucking power. You should remove it altogether because the idea that it suppliments power or fulfills deficiency is a myth. The amp wants 4000 watts and takes it from wherever . When you don't have the extra 4 kilowatts, get more batteries until you do have 4 kilowatts extra for entertainment. You may need a stronger alternator to feed the extra batteries and that's all it's going to do.
