ok, I have a 2000 buick century, and there was a vaccume piece that had a hose running to the PCV valve, and it was a little box, I don't remember the name of it, but anyways I replaced it, but it did not fix the problem, when you hit the gas it will rev up, the box out real bad like it has a vacuum leak still. the rubber hoses are new too, there is a little live pressure release valve (kinda like a valve steam) on the hose that had the piece break and I had to replace. do I need to pull a vacuum on it or something? I have never had to fix something like this, so I am lost when it comes to vacuum hoses.
